Groundset

About

We run what we sell.

Every service, in our own business first.

How it started

Our own problem first.

Groundset began as our own problem: too much admin, too many apps, and data sitting in someone else's cloud.

So we built an agent that runs on a machine in the building. It reads the inbox, watches the sensors, files the reports and answers on WhatsApp. It has run our business since December 2025. Every service on this site is something it already does for us.

We build hardware too. When a sensor or controller does not exist off the shelf, we design the board.

The name

Why the name

A ground set is the earthing kit a lineman clamps on before working on a live circuit.

In electronics, ground is the one reference every reading is measured against, and the return path that makes the system safe.

That is the job we do. One base in your building that everything is wired to, set in place and kept running.

How we think

How we think

No licences, no kits. We build systems, run them in our own business first, then offer them.

  • Start with the problem

No scope before we understand what is actually costing you time.

  • Run it ourselves first

Nothing ships to a client until it has run in our own business.

  • Your hardware, your data

Local models, local storage, your network. Nothing leaves unless you say so.

  • A person stays in the loop

Nothing goes out to a customer and nothing switches in a board without a person saying so.

The workshop

We build things.

Tell us what is taking up your time. We say what is worth automating and what is not.
